Community Impact
Founded in 2013, the Extra Innings Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit foundation that raises money for members of the Northeast Ohio softball community during times of unexpected and uncontrolled duress or hardships. We do this by hosting events like softball tournaments, fundraising dinners and other events in a continual effort.

How Extra Innings was started....
In 2012 a group of local softball players put together the first NTD (Next Time Duck) Superdraft softball tournament. Originally the tournament was organized when a long time local softball player, suffered a severe head injury while playing second base in a local tournament. The injury required emergency surgery to repair a fractured skull. Because of the success the group had in raising money for this individual, they decided to officially create the Extra Innings Foundation and make this tournament one of the main annual events.
Continuing to Grow....
In years since the start of the Extra Innings Foundation, we have been able to put on events that have allowed us to give over $42,000 to more than 20 families. Most of these families have had to endure severe financial setbacks to go along with these life altering events. While some of these events were the result of a softball injury, some were life issues that were unfairly dealt to them.
How you can help....
Your participation in the annual NTD Superdraft tournament, Reverse Raffle and/or other events will directly benefit the Extra Innings Foundation and our ongoing efforts to help families in the Northeast Ohio Softball community in extreme times of need.
